What is CNC Routing?

CNC routing, or Computer Numerical Control routing, is a manufacturing process where a machine with computer-controlled router tool is used to mill/machine/cut precise and intricate shapes and designs in various materials such as wood, plastic, non-ferrous metal, foam, or composites. The computer software controls the cutting tool's movement and speed, allowing for incredibly precise and complex cuts, repeatability in production, and faster turnaround times. CNC routers can be used for a wide range of applications, including signage, cabinetry, millwork, furniture, plastic parts, and more.

Basically, you can think of it as a large format milling machine that runs very fast. It can mill shapes in 3 dimensions, all simultaneously, for anything from intricate carvings to basic 2D Shapes.

Our CNC Router offers a 5' x 10' working area with 6-8" of thickness capability.

Most sheet goods (MDF, plastic sheets, plywood, etc) can be held down with our large vacuum pump - meaning we can maximize material usage and reduce your costs without need for additional processing after cutting.
